One (1) month!

🙋 Not that I'm counting... I began this adventure in October when I decided on a return visit to London, and activated the process in November when I made my decision and signed up for a tour. Why a tour, do I hear you ask? Simple... it's less expensive. One does receive a great deal (lodging, entrance fees, transportation, all breakfasts, and half the lunches and dinners), actually the biggest outlay of funds was for the flight over and back. Besides, the local tour guides know more about their city than I could ever stumble across. I do have 2 days designated as exploration and shop so not totally 'on script'. 👋

I believe that part of the fun is in the planning - where to go, what to see, and... deciding on what to bring. I tend to pick absolutely everything except the kitchen sink. From that beginning then I start sifting and sorting - deciding precisely what I need (and prepared to buy it if necessary). I still will probably pack too much but I rarely miss anything. I do also tend toward the multiple use approach thus not taking every color in the rainbow for tops but coordinating this with the pants I will be wearing. It's the final pack that puts it all together and I do it at least a day ahead so if something strikes my thinking... I'm able to add.

The where to go/what to see does take a bit more organizing since in this case, 'free time' is limited... which is why I'm taking a day off from the tour to do my own thing, shopping and seeing. May take in a play, but that's still in the 'hmm' category. There are a couple of sites that are not on the tour that I will also be visiting. Not going to be to do/see all of what I want but picking and choosing isn't easy either. Actually, 6 weeks would be nice.

A month...
