LONDON!!!!
So cool... so very, very cool. π
Hmmm... these words and the picture seems familiar. I think I sent this to everyone about six weeks prior to the May trip. Well, rather than bore you with a repeat, simply refer to the earlier post in April. Sorry for the previous error.
But there's more! So on to other things... like packing. I've been amassing various and sundry bits and bobs since I put $$ to my dream of going back to London. There's a section in my wardrobe that's all the clothing I need/will be/? taking. I do this so I have everything sorted out in my mind before I go and now I have the luxury of deleting. I have no intention of taking everything but the kitchen sink... techie speaking, will though. But I do want to pare everything down without going too minimalistic. I'm not even gone a fortnight and the people I meet I will never meet again so it's comfort-based that will be the deciding factor.
The 'problem' is more in the line of what I want to see or re-see. What are must visits, such as the London Eye or high English Tea, and what are 'interesting' but I won't be in the throes of sorrow if I don't see it, such as Madam Tussauds or Old Bailey's. There are sooo many places to see and will I have time for a play. Weather is a possible factor... but probably not. I really like the time of year I'll be there. The only other possibility would be September.
Regardless... there still are some sorting out things to discover and resolve before I put my foot on the plane. As for the current moment... I still have a bit of double checking to complete the packing process. My attitude pretty much is if I've forgotten something and it's critical, buy it there. Otherwise... now... should I take an alarm clock or not???
What will I be doing today?! Every last minute things I can think of because I want tomorrow to be mellow. When next I write, it will probably be in-flight..... or in LONDON!!!
